Yesterday’s model was a bit of a filler with nothing really to get excited over. Hopefully, today will be better. I assume we’ll be getting something associated with the Hog’s Head inn, but let’s open calendar door number 15 and see what we got there…
It was indeed another model from Hog’s Head, with a keg of butter beer, so Aberforth Dumbledore can serve his customers (like Harry, Ron and Hermione).

Once again, it is a day with low part count with 10 parts, including one spare. So the model is once again, fairly simple and super quick to build.

As such, the model is okay. I would have liked a bit of dark brown as we also had yesterday, but the reddish brown and pearl gold does still tie in well with yesterday’s model by themselves, and overall the model has the right style to fit with the Hog’s Head theme.

Now Aberforth has somewhere to fill his glass.
Summary
Another day with low part count. A lot of the negatives yesterday apply today as well, but I do find the model slightly more interesting than yesterday (maybe because the keg is important to my cultural heritage), and will give an average score of three out of 5 house points. It would have been great if today had a small table with glasses to fill with butterbeer, so the trio could get a drink. That could have been done without an excessive part count, and would have lifted the score quite a bit.
For the other buildings, we’ve only got two interior models for each, so maybe tomorrow will be something else? I am thinking we might be due for another outside model. Once again, I hope for something more substantial than what we have seen recently – or for another nicely printed part. Check back tomorrow on the 2023 Advent Calendar page to see what we got.
Till then, Build the Magic!
