Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms now available

The awaited Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms – Gift With Purchase (GWP) promotion went live on LEGO.com this morning. Check the availability and purchase amount to quality for your country here…

The Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms set promotiong went live 25 October in the morning. It is a nice little set. You can see my review of it here.

How do I get the set?

In Europe the set is listed as a free gift with LEGO Harry Potter purchases exceeding €100 (£100 in the UK) from 25th October to 7th November. I assume this is from both LEGO.com and LEGO brand stores. Within Europe, there may be differences in terms of availability and the amount you need to buy for to qualify for the gift. I’ve only checked a subset.

As noted in my previous post, it was advertised on the US store calendar as being available for a similar period for LEGO Harry Potter purchases above $100. It subsequently disappeared from the calendar. There has been speculations whether this was because it it had been delayed, but is is listed on the website, so I guess it is at least available from LEGO.com. Maybe it is delayed in some shops? Leave a comment if you know more. I suggest you check with the store before going there to avoid disappointment though.

As for Australia and New Zealand, the offer went live on LEGO.com this morning for LEGO Harry Potter purchases above $199 (AU/NZ). I know that it is coming to at least some stores, but appears to have been delayed. I’ll provide an update when I know more.

Hermione’s Study Desk

But wait, there’s more. At least in the US, Hermione’s Study Desk is also listed on the website, but for “in-store” purchases only. You’ll qualify for this when purchasing for at least US$40 of LEGO Harry Potter from today till 7 November (or while supplies last).

I haven’t checked all countries, but for Canada, it is similarly listed, but for purchases above CA$55, Germany has it for purchases above €40, while for the UK, it is for purchases above £40.
