Another nice weekend day – and better time to enjoy the advent calendar build along with its usual companion – a nice cup of coffee. Yesterday, we finished the last of the statues representing the mascots of each of the four Hogwarts Houses. What will we get? Read on to see what is behind door 15…
A quick look at the bag behind today’s door revealed that we got the Slytherin table for the Great Hall. It was expected, but the did shake up the order a bit early on, so it could have been something else.
Within the bag are 13 pieces one of which is a spare.
The table is identical to those of the other houses, just with the table top being a different colour, with the dark green used to represent Slytherin. On the table is a jar of some goodies (I assume Acid Pops would fall in that category in on a magical school), a bottle and two golden goblets.
Summary
Finally, the last table. It is probably the least interesting, though I do like the jar of Acid Pops. As with getting the fourth statue yesterday, it isn’t really that exciting the fourth time, in particular as the table build itself is identical to what you’ve already done a few times. So overall, I’ll limit myself to give it 3 out of 5 house points – an average score…
With this, we have all four students, statues and tables for each of the Hogwarts houses. After a sequence of minifigure, statue and table, we’ve had a Christmas related model, so that would be my guess for tomorrow, though I have no good idea exactly what. Maybe more presents to put under the Christmas tree? We’ll soon find out. Check back tomorrow on the 2024 Advent Calendar page to see what we got.
