REVIEW: Advent calendar 4 December 2023

At the end of day 3, Harry is still stuck at Honeydukes, eating his way through the goodies we’ve been given the last couple of days. What will day 4 give us? More sweets for Honeydukes, or someone to share them with? Or something else? Read on to see what we got…

From the warmth of Honeydukes, we move outside to the snow-covered main street. Today’s model is a sign, where the Ministry of Magic asks Hogsmeade residents to be on the look out for Sirius Black.

With only 8 pieces (none of them are spares), it is the smallest model of the advent calendar so far. Being a small model, it is easily built.

The final product looks pretty good and I really like the printed “Have you seen this wizard” tile. We’ve had stickers previously, but I do prefer having printed alternatives.

Summary

I was pretty happy with today’s model. It was small though, but maybe it is the snow that get me thinking of the festive season coming up – or the very nice printed tile, unique to this calendar. As result, it will give it four out of five house points, which is the top score so far, even though the smallest model.

What will we get tomorrow? Harry is still all alone, so maybe another minifigure? Or maybe continue with outdoor models? Time will tell. Check back tomorrow to see on the 2023 Advent Calendar page to see what we got.

Till then, Build the Magic!
