Luna Lovegood's Spectrespecs is a worthy "Hogwarts Icon" in my opinion, so I decided to build a wearable version of them to supplement my Hogwarts Icons collection. For those playing/building along at home, I've now created a set of instructions with a part list to get you going. Have fun!

Display your Golden Anniversary LEGO Harry Potter minifigures
The 2021 LEGO Harry Potter sets have given us several collectable items, including a number of golden anniversary minifigures. I have been pondering how best to display those for a while, but with the announcement of the Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition set, the solution seems given. Read on to see the included stand as well as my alternative version of it...
Instructions for Goblet of Fire brick built book
Back in March I posted about how you can build a book to use for displaying the three small micro-scale models that came with the 2020 Advent Calendar. A few months ago, the awesome wizard card creation by Daan de Ruijter was widely shared on the internet. As I blogged about here, he kindly provided instructions for his creation. I have finally had time to make my own. I didn't quite have all the bricks needed, so I made a few alterations on … Continue reading Chocolate Frog meets Wizard Card
