When the Rise of Voldemort set was released on 1st August, I was able to get a copy and publish a review. The same day LEGO released their augmented reality series of set called Hidden Side. One of these sets is a graveyard, so I immediately thought this might go well with the Harry Potter set, which is rather small by itself. Let's see how it looks...
Wave 2 of the 2019 LEGO Harry Potter sets should be available in shops from today, 1 August (in most parts of the world). Here I will take a look at the smaller of the two, which covers the graveyard where Harry and Cedric ended up after unknowingly touching a portkey at the end of the third and final challenge of the Tri-wizard Tournament. Today, 22 years ago we had the Battle of the Seven Potters. It is also known as the Battle Over Little Whinging as it happened on the evening of 27 July 1997 when members of the Order of the Phoenix led by Mad-Eye Moody where to take Harry Potter to safety and was engaged in an aerial battle over Southern England with a group of Death Eaters led by Lord Voldemort. As follow up to the LEGO Weasley's Wizard Wheezes MOC I did early in the year, I've finally completed my next Diagon Alley model: the Flourish & Blotts bookstore. As a book-lover I really wanted to build this one - and also because it was one of the shops covered in more detail in the books. It will be part of a larger Diagon Alley display eventually I've got planned. The following may hint on what's coming next.
One of my strongest memories from seeing The Chamber of Secrets was the scene near the end in the chamber itself.
