LEGO Harry Potter 2020 Advent calendar – first official photos

Christmas is coming early it appears at the Swiss LEGO store Meinspielzeug, who has released high quality photos of the upcoming LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar (set 75981). Curious what it will bring? Read on for the full story…

The calendar will once again feature 24 surprises, including six minifigures and 355 pieces in total, and be available from 1 September. The price has apparently gone up slightly. I’ll update pricing when available.

As seen below, it has a Yule Ball theme and will probably be a great companion to the Hogwarts Clock Tower set.

From the photo, we can see we will get:

• Harry Potter
• Ron Weasley
• Padma (or Parvati) Patil

From the photo it looks like Ron and Harry are similar to how they appeared in the Clock Tower set.

But the Patil twin is new and hopefully her sister is there too along with other new minifigures.

One highlight, I’m in particular looking forward to, is the 2×3 printed tile with the Yule Ball invitation, similar to the official one.

The minibuilds look great, with more shown on the back. In particular I like the wrapped up Firebolt that Harry got in The Prisoner of Azkaban.
