The two models we’ve got from the Half-blood Prince so far were very different in terms of quality. How will the last model do in comparison? Read on to see what we got…
The Professor Slughorn arm chair we got on 16 December was great. Would it also count as the minifigure for the sixth movie? Or would we get that today?
18 December model
Opening today’s door, I noticed that we were indeed to get another minifigure.

Today’s minifigure is Professor Snape.
It os a good choice (now we have Slughorn already) for the movie.
The minifigure has the usual dual printed head (Snape is one of those characters that doesn’t have a happy face) and torso print on both front and back.

It’s a decent figure, yet nothing particular is exciting about it, as it’s the same version we saw in the 2021 Hogwarts Moments: Potions Class set and the recent 2022 set Hogwarts: Dumbledore’s office.
Summary
Today’s model brings us to six miniatures for the advent calendar so far (excluding the Slughorn armchair model). That is the number of minifigures normally included in an advent calendar, and it seems like we’ll get a couple more later. That makes this calendar rather unique. As for today’s model, it is rather perfect representing the movie, and well printed, but not special otherwise. So I’ll keep the score at an average 3 out of 5 house points.
This completes the sixth movie. I wonder what will be coming as we start on the Deathly Hallows part 1 tomorrow. I’m still hoping for a Christmas related model at some point, but I struggle to see how to make that work with this year’s calendar. But maybe I’ll get surprised? Be sure to check back on the 2022 Advent Calendar page tomorrow to see what we got…
Till then, Build the Magic!
