All true fans know that 31 July is Harry Potter’s birthday, a day he shares with his creator JK Rowling. But it is also the date I started Blockwarts, which means a day of celebration for me as well. Read on for the highlights of my fourth year running this blog and some thoughts of what's coming next…

300 post anniversary!
Wow, just realised that my previous post was number 300 since I started this blog in 2018. I had no idea it was the beginning of such as journey back then. But I can promise there are plenty to come in the future!
REVIEW: Hogwarts Wizard’s Chess
Harry Potter LEGO used to be all playsets. But in recent years we have seen a number of sets that are more for display. The 2021 set Hogwarts Wizard Chess is a bit of a hybrid, both suitable for display and for play while also being a fully functional chess game too. It was therefore one of the more interesting sets in this year's lineup. But how does it stack up in reality? Read on for my full review...
REVIEW: Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms
Towards the end of last year, we got the surprise Monster Book of Monsters gift with purchase (GWP) set. I hadn't really expected something similar this year, but I'm happy that LEGO decided to continue this "tradition". I was lucky to be provided with a review copy. Representing the Gryffindor boys dormitory, the 2021 GWP set is a nice addition to the modular Hogwarts sets released this year. Here are my thoughts...
Favourite Hogwarts Moments: Neville Longbottom actor recreates his top 20 scenes from Harry Potter
In a new video released by LEGO, Neville Longbottom actor Matthew Lewis recreates his top 20 scenes from the Harry Potter movies using LEGO sets. The resulting video is a nice trip down the memory lane, with fun anecdotes and facts from the making of the movies. Watch the video here...
Displaying your collectable Wizard Card tiles
The 20th anniversary sets have been in the shops for about a week and many may now consider what to do with the collectable wizard card tiles included in the sets. You have 16 to collect - but how are they best displayed? Here is what I did...
REVIEW: Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets
It has been no less than 19 years since LEGO last released a Chamber of Secrets set. That was back when the minifigures within the Harry Potter theme still had yellow heads. So it is great news that LEGO has finally made a new version as part of its 20th Anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter series of sets due to hit the shelves in June 2021. LEGO has kindly sent me an advance copy to review. Read on to see what you'll get...
REVIEW: Hogwarts Fluffy Encounter
The mid-2021 wave of Harry Potter sets celebrate the 20th anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter. This includes a set with Fluffy the three headed dog, which in many ways is similar to the Forbidden Corridor set released back in 2001. This is a nice homage to the origin of the theme, but how does it stack up as a set otherwise? Luckily LEGO has sent me an advance copy to review, so read on to see what you'll get...
REVIEW: Hogsmeade Village Visit
Along with Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade is one of the iconic locations from the Harry Potter universe one would expect to see in a Harry Potter theme park. It is therefore surprising that we haven't seen any sets with Hogsmeade since 2004. Luckily the 2021 wave of sets includes an excellent Hogsmeade set, which I've been sent to review. Here is what you get...
Collectable wizard tiles
As previously announced, the 20th Anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter themed sets in the coming mid 2021 wave each includes a number of random wizard tiles. Having been provided by some of these sets by LEGO in advance for review, I can now give more information about these...
