When LEGO revived the Harry Potter theme in 2018, it released the Great Hall set. This was the first of a series of modular Hogwarts sets, that can be combined into a large Hogwarts castle, featuring many of the important rooms within the castle. In 2020, the Astronomy tower was released in this series. Does it meet the standard set by the previous sets? Here are my thoughts...

REVIEW: Attack on the Burrow
Fresh into 2021, I better get on with finishing the last few reviews of the 2020 sets. Here I will discuss the Attack on the Burrow set. The Burrow is one of the most iconic buildings in the Harry Potter universe, and it is great to see a remake of this. But does it hit the mark? Here are my thoughts...
REVIEW: Hogwarts Moments – Transfiguration Class
Thanks to LEGO’s AFOL Engagement Team, I have had the opportunity to have a look at the new Hogwarts Moments series before they hit the shelves in January 2021. There will be four of those sets, one for each of the Hogwarts Houses. In this third post I will cover Gryffindor, which is centred around a Transfiguration Class. Enjoy…
REVIEW: Advent Calendar 10 December 2020
Time is flying. We are already at the two-digit numbers in December, and I have still so much to do. Luckily the ritual of opening the advent calendar helps me calm down in the morning. Let's see what it had for me today...

REVIEW: Ron Weasley and Albus Dumbledore Brickheadz
While the 2020 sets have started to hit the shelves in some countries, I still got a few of the 2018 sets I never got around to review back then. I'm still hopeful that we get to see more Brickheadz from the Harry Potter universe if not in 2020, then in 2021. But focusing on what we have got, here is my review of the largest of the three Harry Potter themed Brickheadz sets released back in 2018. And it was a pleasant addition to my collection as you will see...

Wingardium Leviosa – Tensegrity in action…
One of the most remembered sentences from the movies must be Hermione's "It is Levi-O-sa, not Levio-sar" in Flitwicks Charms class. Ron didn't appreciate it, but at least he didn't blow up the feather like Seamus Finnigan. With the recent trend of building floating LEGO structures based on the Tensegrity concept, let's have a quick look at the levitation spell and some Harry Potter related Tensegrity stuctures.
