Over the last couple of years, I've been working on a large LEGO model of Diagon Alley. It started with a custom model of the Leaky Cauldron and another of the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes shop. Realising I had two key components of Diagon Alley, I thought, why not build it all (or almost all at least)? So welcome to my Diagon Alley!
LEGO Harry Potter CMF series 2 spotted in the wild
While not officially revealed by LEGO yet (but with an expected release date of 1 September it can't be far away), Promobricks has found LEGO Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures (CMF) Series 2 for sale at a couple of Carrefour supermarkets. So we now know all 16 figures we are to get and it looks like a very strong series. Here is what we get and a bit of backstory to some of the figures...
REVIEW: 4 Privet Drive
With the calendar saying August 1, the new LEGO Harry Potter sets are now finally available in North America. The sets are worth the wait though - the ones I've looked at so far have been amazing. Here I take a look at 4 Privet Drive. I have really been looking forward to this one, having built my own model earlier in the year, and I was keen to compare it with the new one. Overall, I've really impressed with the set. Read on to see why...
New Brickheadz set with Hagrid and Buckbeak revealed
Last year, it was flagged that new licensed Brickheadz figures were to come in 2020, and while the Harry Potter universe wasn't mentioned, given it is an active license, I wasn't surprised to find that overnight photos have emerged on the Hungarian toy retailer Kockashop website showing a new Brickheadz set with Hagrid and Buckbeak. Here is what we know...

Many readers will know that today, 31 July, is Harry Potter's birthday, a day he shares with his creator JK Rowling. But it is also exactly two years ago I started Blockwarts. But for various reasons some may like to add a back to it. So last month I sat down with some extra bricks to look for solutions.
Make your own Bill Weasley
Ron Weasley had six siblings but apart from Ron himself, only three of them (Fred, George and Ginny) have been made into LEGO characters. I've previously discussed how to build your own Percy, and here follows how you can build your own Bill Weasley...

The German based LEGO blog Stonewars has compiled a list of all LEGO sets expected to retire in the next six month or so and it includes some Harry Potter sets. Once retired, they will be harder and harder to find and ultimately have to be sourced second hand. So what sets are considered at risk?

Dumbledore’s Army
My recent reviews of both the Room of Requirement set and the Hogwarts Students minifigure pack found they supplemented each other well - in particular in relation Dumbledore's Army. In this post I explore that further, creating a few extra members of Dumbledore's Army along the way...
